In real simple terms, this means that you can blog about, link to, Twitter about, and scream at passersby the wonder of TopatoCo brand dry-goods — and for every sale that results from your promotion, you earn cash. We pay you 7% of the subtotal amount (meaning, not including tax and shipping) for any sale generated by your unique affiliate ID.

Here, in handy bullet-point fashion, is how it works:

* Sign up for an affiliate account by pointing your cursor at this highlighted text and depressing the mouse button, then filling out the application. You have to agree not to spam anybody or abuse our trademarks with Google Ads or any other shifty stuff, but you shouldn’t be doing that anyway. Your application will be reviewed by a real human person and probably approved!

* Link to TopatoCo products using your special affiliate code. It looks like &Affiliate=yourname and all you have to do is slap that code on the end of any TopatoCo link you post. That’ll put a cookie in a visitor’s browser and make sure that their purchases are credited to you. (So it doesn’t work if they have cookies disabled.)

* The payout threshold for affiliates is $20. Any month in which you have earned more than $20 in commissions, you’ll be paid via PayPal. Any month in which you earn less, your balance will be rolled over to the next month.
