TopatoCo Missives/Prophecies - Good Things from Great Webcomics

TopatoCo is now on youtube!

Due to so much interest in our expansion towards other social media factions such as our Vine and Instagram accounts, The Topato Corporation has deemed youtube as a “decent enough” site, and are now branching our weird little arms to that area of the internet!

What kinds of videos can I expect?

Merchandise commercials, holiday videos, interviews with the creators of TopatoCo, convention videos, AND MORE!

Does it cost anything to subscribe?

Wh-What? Uh… no… Do you know what youtube is? Oh crap, did we accidentally travel back to 2004 again? Goddammit, who’s the president? WHAT?? STILL???

Okay, okay, enough of that now. We know it’s only 2008!

Our newest client, @GOPTeens, has created hilariously satirical shirts like “Is #Obama a #Voldemort?” and “Where should #America’s next #war be?”

Skybridge: The Battle in Seattle

At some point this weekend (March 28-30) you may find yourself in a strange costume on the Skybridge of the Washington State Convention Center. To your left is TopatoCo (The Good Guys). To your right is BOOM! Studios. The tension is so thick it cannot be cut. Scientists will be studying how thick the tension is for practical uses in building aircraft frames.

We are outgunned and outnumbered but we believe we might win. Maybe. We have street smarts and gumption and all that. We have the combined power of:

Emily Horne & Joey Comeau (A Softer World): They have badass tattoos.

Aaron Diaz (Dresden Codak): Aaron once beat up a gang.

Becky Dreistadt and Frank Gibson (Tiny Kitten Teeth): Frank is from New Zealand.

Tyson Hesse (Boxer Hockey/Diesel): Tyson was born without the part of his brain that feels fear.

Jeph Jacques (Questionable Content): Jeph is 11 feet tall.

Kate Leth (Kate Leth): Kate also had badass tattoos.

Sam Logan (Sam and Fuzzy): Sam is a demolitions expert.

David Malki ! (Wondermark/Machine of Death): David is the deadliest man in the world with parody rap lyrics.

Ryan North (Dinosaur Comics/All Kinds of Stuff): Ryan is TWELVE feet tall.

Dante Shepherd (Surviving the World): Dante has super intelligence and hearing.

Chris Yates (Chris Yates Studios): Chris uses power tools like, all the time.

We will have STUFF. We will have THINGS. We will have surprises. We will have the WILL TO SURVIVE. But most importantly, we will have friendship. And street smarts.

2013 Holiday Ordering Deadlines

At TopatoCo, we know some of you have certain ideas about how things work. You might think we’re all robots and the things you order go through pneumatic tubes and are placed in packages and shipped by a magical robot. That is not the case. We are prejudiced against robots so we use humans instead, and it is possible that the human who packs and ships your order is sad, hungry, or upset. That’s why we have… holiday ordering deadlines!

Please note that the target arrival date for all these deadlines is December 24 or sooner. For dates that come before December 24 , read this and please give us a couple extra days just in case because things start gettin pretty crazy around here right about now. We run a robot-free workplace and people are imprefect.
